About Us

SOUTHWICK Liquid Waste has decades of experience in the septic industry.  The company was started by Clyde Southwick and was formerly known as both Big Clyde’s Sanitation and as Southwick Sewer and Drain.  Brad and Jackie Southwick ran the company for over 30 years.  During that 30 year span, Jason Kubik worked for 8 years and purchased the company in 2013.  The current owners Jason and Jaime Kubik are working to maintain the service customers have associated with the Southwick name but also use current technology to help the company run more efficiently.

Southwick Liquid Waste offers both residential and commercial pumping services with the largest capacity truck in the Lincoln and Omaha area.  We want to utilize technology, maintenance and education to provide the most cost-efficient services to our customers.

IN THE OFFICE:  Jaime Kubik

If you happen to call our office, chances are you’ll be talking to Jaime Kubik.  Jaime is married to Jason and the two have owned Southwick Liquid Waste since 2013.  Jaime grew up in a small farming town in Kansas.  She attended Kansas State University where she got her teaching degree and then taught middle school science for 10 years.  She and Jason have been married 15 years and have two school aged boys that keep them quite busy with their many activities.

Jaime quit teaching in 2014 to help Jason with the office work and talking to customers.  Jaime holds both her inspection and installation licenses from the state.  Every other month she writes an article in the local circular Country Connection about septic maintenance.  She also maintains the Southwick Facebook page and website blog by writing articles to help educate customers living on septic systems.  You might also hear her on the radio with Nebraska Home Sales in yet another venue offering up tid- bits of information about maintaining septic systems.

OUT IN THE FIELD:  Jason Kubik

IMG_3694Jason Kubik is the one guiding all of us around.  Jason grew up in Hickman, Nebraska and graduated from Norris High school.  The Kubiks and the Southwicks were long-time friends, so when Brad was thinking of retirement, he offered Jason the opportunity of learning this on-site wastewater installation trade with the plan to purchase the business someday.  In February of 2006 Jason began working for Brad and in June of 2013 he bought the business.

Jason holds both his inspection and installation licenses from the state along with his pumper’s license.  He enjoys researching new technologies that allow for better, longer lasting septic systems.  In conjunction with the Bio Microbics company, local engineers and the Nebraska Department of Environmental Quality, Jason has helped many customers find systems that work when a conventional septic system can not.  Most days, you will find Jason meeting with customers and builders on new installation, conducting percolation tests, or anything else that needs to be done for the company to run most efficiently.
